    Mount Magazine State Park is accessible via Arkansas Highway 309, also known as the Mount Magazine Scenic Byway. From Paris, Arkansas, travel south for approximately 16 miles on Highway 309. From Danville, take Arkansas Highway 10 west to Havana, then turn north onto Highway 309 for 10 miles. Once on the mountain, follow the signs to the visitor center, lodge, or other desired park facilities. Parking is available at various locations throughout the park, including the visitor center, lodge, trailheads, and overlooks. Parking is free. Be aware that the drive up the mountain involves steep inclines and switchbacks, so ensure your vehicle is in good condition.
