Turn onto County Road 59 and drive 2.8 miles down the steep, narrow road to the parking area near the old homesite. A 4-wheel drive vehicle may be needed in wet conditions. Parking is free, but limited.

    From the parking area, walk past the gate and follow the old driveway. The trail descends to Big Creek, requiring several creek crossings. Follow the path, marked with ribbons on trees, through the woods to Big Creek Cave Falls. Be prepared for some bushwhacking and slippery conditions. There are no entrance fees or required passages.
