The Arkansas National Guard Museum, located on the grounds of Camp Robinson in North Little Rock, tells the compelling story of the Arkansas National Guard, from its 1804 beginnings as a frontier militia to its present-day service. The museum also preserves the history of Camp Robinson itself, which was established as Camp Pike in 1917 to train soldiers for World War I. The museum's exhibits feature a wide array of artifacts, including uniforms, weapons, photographs, and personal accounts that highlight the commitment and valor of Arkansas soldiers throughout history. Visitors can explore the Guard's involvement in conflicts ranging from the Mexican War and Civil War to the World Wars, the Korean War, Desert Storm, and the Global War on Terror. A highlight is the Yeater Collection, comprising almost 200 weapons dating from the early 19th century to World War II. The museum is housed in Lloyd England Hall, which was built in 1931 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
