Start from the central square of Alaverdi, where the bus station is located. Head east on the main road (Tigran Mets Street) towards the direction of Stepanavan. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Stepanavan. Turn left onto the Stepanavan road and continue walking for another 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the signs that indicate the direction to the Memorial of Stepan Shahumyan. The memorial is located in Stepanavan, about 4.5 kilometers from Alaverdi's center. You will see the memorial ahead as you approach the town center of Stepanavan.
