Start at the central square of Goris, which is located near the Goris Municipality building. From the square, head east on Tigran Metz Avenue. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Tatev. Turn left onto the road towards Tatev. Walk along this road for approximately 4 kilometers. After about 4 km, you will see signs for Khndzoresk. Follow the signs and take the path leading uphill towards Old Khndzoresk, which will take you through a picturesque landscape. The walk will take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.

Public Transport
From the central bus station in Goris, take a marshrutka (shared taxi) heading towards Khndzoresk. Marshrutkas to Khndzoresk typically leave every hour. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Khndzoresk, ask the driver to drop you off at the closest point to Old Khndzoresk. From there, it is a short walk (about 10-15 minutes) uphill to reach the historical landmark.

Cycling
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the central square of Goris and head east on Tigran Metz Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the road to Tatev. Turn left onto the road towards Tatev and cycle for about 4 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Khndzoresk and follow them. The road will lead you directly to the area, and you will be able to park your bicycle nearby before walking the final stretch to Old Khndzoresk. The total cycling time is approximately 30-40 minutes.
