Walking
Start your journey from the Goris city center. Head southwest on Tigran Mets Street, which becomes the main road leading out of Goris. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Tatev. At this intersection, you will see signs pointing towards Tatev Monastery. Follow the road uphill, which is about 2 kilometers and will take you through beautiful landscapes. As you approach the viewpoint, the road will become narrower and more winding. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Tatev viewpoint. Once you reach the viewpoint, you will be greeted with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the monastery.

Public Transport (Bus or Minibus)
From Goris, head to the main bus station located near the city center. Look for buses or minibuses heading to Tatev Monastery. These usually leave every hour. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and you will be dropped off near the monastery. From there, follow the signs to the Tatev viewpoint, which is about a 15-minute walk uphill. The path is well-marked, and you will enjoy the scenic views as you approach the viewpoint.
