If you are traveling by car within Shikahogh State Reserve, start from the main entrance of the reserve. Follow the main road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left path and continue for another 3 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the direction to Old Chinar. After an additional 2 kilometers, you will arrive at a small parking area near the Old Chinar.

To reach Old Chinar using public transportation, take a local bus from the center of Shikahogh that heads towards Ordubad. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the nearest bus stop in Ordubad, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer. Look for local signs directing you to Old Chinar, which is a well-known landmark. The cost of the bus ticket is around 500 AMD.
