Getting There

Car
From the Shikahogh State Reserve visitor center, head northwest on the main road (M2) towards the village of Shikahogh. Continue for about 5 km until you reach the junction with the road leading to Lake Gogi. Turn left onto the smaller road leading to Lake Gogi and follow the signs for approximately 3 km. The road may be unpaved, so drive cautiously. Once you arrive at the parking area near the lake, you can walk the short distance to the lake's edge.

From the center of Shikahogh village, look for a marshrutka (minibus) heading towards the nearby village of Goris. Ask the driver to drop you off at the turnoff for Lake Gogi. This ride typically costs around 500 AMD. From the drop-off point, it’s about a 3 km walk to Kaputan Lake. Follow the trail signs leading to the lake, enjoying the natural scenery along the way.
