Tres Trapi Beach, meaning 'three steps' in Papiamento, is a small, rocky cove on Aruba's northwest coast, renowned for its excellent snorkeling. Accessible via steps carved into the rock, it offers encounters with sea turtles and diverse marine life, making it a favorite spot for underwater exploration.

Driving
From Oranjestad, drive northwest on L.G. Smith Boulevard. Continue until you reach the roundabout with Route 2 (Sasakiweg) and Route 3 (Matividiri). Take the second exit onto Route 3 (Matividiri) and continue for approximately 3.5 miles until the intersection with Route 4 (Palm Beach Road). Turn left onto Route 4 and continue for about 1.5 miles until you see Malmokweg on your right. Turn right onto Malmokweg; Tres Trapi will be on your left. Parking is free in the dirt lot directly in front of the beach. Be aware that the lot can be bumpy.
Public Transport
From Oranjestad, take the Arubus L10a to the Malmok Beach bus stop. The bus departs every 20-30 minutes. From the bus stop, walk approximately 1000 feet (300 meters) to Tres Trapi. A single bus fare is $3.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available from most locations in Aruba, including the hotel areas. A taxi ride from the Palm Beach area to Tres Trapi will cost approximately $15-$20. It is advisable to arrange for a return trip in advance, as taxis may not be readily available at Tres Trapi.
