Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Tanki Leendert, head towards the main road, which is called 'Caya di Solo'. Walk east until you reach the intersection with 'Caya di Biento'. Turn right onto Caya di Biento and continue walking straight for about 1.5 km. You will pass by several local shops and small eateries. Keep an eye out for the local flora and fauna along the way. After approximately 1.5 km, you will reach the junction with 'Caya di Pueblo'. Turn left and walk another 1 km until you see the sign for Fontein Cave on your right. The entrance is a short walk from the road.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Tanki Leendert and ride towards 'Caya di Solo'. Follow the same route as walking by heading east until you reach 'Caya di Biento'. Turn right and continue cycling straight for about 1.5 km. After you pass the intersection with 'Caya di Pueblo', continue for another kilometer until you see the sign for Fontein Cave. The entrance will be on your right. Cycling allows you to explore the area more comfortably and enjoy the scenery.

  • Public Transport

    While there is no direct public transport route to Fontein Cave from Tanki Leendert, you can take a bus to Oranjestad and then catch a taxi to the cave. From the center of Tanki Leendert, walk to the nearest bus stop on 'Caya di Solo' and take a bus towards Oranjestad. Once you arrive in Oranjestad, hire a taxi and inform the driver that you want to go to Fontein Cave. The driver will know the location and can take you there directly.
