If you are driving, start from Katoomba. Head south on Katoomba Street and follow the signs to the Great Western Highway (A32). Merge onto A32 and continue for about 20 kilometers. Take the exit toward Bilpin/Newnes Plateau. Continue onto the Bells Line of Road (C581) for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for the turnoff to Old Coach Trail, which is well signposted. Follow Old Coach Trail for about 5 kilometers until you reach the Glow Worm Tunnel car park.

For those using public transport, take a train from Sydney to Katoomba Station. From Katoomba, you can catch a bus to the town of Mount Victoria (Bus route 686).
