Car
If you are driving, start from Katoomba. Head south on Katoomba Street and follow the signs to the Great Western Highway (A32). Merge onto A32 and continue for about 20 kilometers. Take the exit toward Bilpin/Newnes Plateau. Continue onto the Bells Line of Road (C581) for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for the turnoff to Old Coach Trail, which is well signposted. Follow Old Coach Trail for about 5 kilometers until you reach the Glow Worm Tunnel car park.

For those using public transport, take a train from Sydney to Katoomba Station. From Katoomba, you can catch a bus to the town of Mount Victoria (Bus route 686). Once in Mount Victoria, you will need to arrange for a taxi to take you to the Glow Worm Tunnel area, as public transport does not reach directly to the tunnel. It's advisable to book the taxi in advance or check local taxi services to ensure availability.
