Car
If you are driving to the Glow Worm Tunnel walking track, start on the Great Western Highway (A32). If you are coming from Katoomba, head east on the highway towards Lithgow. After about 30 minutes, take the exit for the Bells Line of Road (B59) towards Bilpin. Continue on Bells Line of Road for approximately 17 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Glowworm Tunnel Road. Follow Glowworm Tunnel Road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the trailhead.

To reach the Glow Worm Tunnel walking track by public transport, take a train from Sydney to Lithgow Station on the Blue Mountains Line. From Lithgow, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the Glowworm Tunnel Road. This is approximately a 30-minute taxi ride. Once you arrive at Glowworm Tunnel Road, follow the signs to the parking area where the walking track begins.
