If you're traveling by car, make your way to Katoomba, which is the nearest town to the Giant Stairway. From Katoomba, follow the signs to 'Blue Mountains National Park'. Take the road towards Scenic World, which is a popular attraction in the area. You can park at the Scenic World car park (note that there may be a parking fee). From the car park, look for the signs pointing towards the Giant Stairway walking trail. The trailhead is located near the Scenic World entrance.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transport, take a train from Sydney to Katoomba Station on the Blue Mountains Line. Once you arrive at Katoomba Station, exit the station and catch a local bus (Route 686) that goes towards Scenic World. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the Scenic World stop. From there, follow the signs to the Giant Stairway walking trail, which is accessible from near the Scenic World entrance.

Once you're at Scenic World, the trail to the Giant Stairway begins near the entrance. The Giant Stairway consists of approximately 800 steps leading down to the valley floor, providing stunning views of the surrounding scenery. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and carry water.
