Ferry
Start your journey at the Brisbane CBD. Make your way to the Brisbane River and find the CityCat terminal at either North Quay or South Bank. Purchase a ticket for the CityCat ferry to the ferry terminal at Cleveland. Enjoy the scenic ferry ride along the river, which takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Cleveland, exit the ferry and head to the bus terminal located right next to the ferry station.

From the Cleveland bus terminal, take the bus No. 250 towards Dunwich. This bus will take you on a scenic route through North Stradbroke Island, passing by various landscapes. The bus ride typically takes around 30-40 minutes. Make sure to inform the bus driver that you want to get off at the Brown Lake stop.

After getting off at the Brown Lake bus stop, follow the signs leading towards Brown Lake. It is a short walk of about 10-15 minutes through natural bushland. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path may be unpaved in some areas.
