Ferry
Start your journey at the Brisbane Central Business District (CBD) and make your way to the City Botanic Gardens ferry terminal. From here, catch the CityCat ferry heading towards the eastern suburbs. Disembark at the terminal for Coochiemudlo Island. The ferry ride offers beautiful views of the Brisbane River. Once you arrive at Coochiemudlo Island, follow the signs towards Melaleuca Wetlands, which is a short walk away.

From Brisbane CBD, head to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus to Victoria Point. You can take bus route 250 or 251 from Queen Street Bus Station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you reach Victoria Point, transfer to a ferry service that operates to Coochiemudlo Island. After arriving at the island, follow the signs towards Melaleuca Wetlands.

For those who enjoy biking, you can rent a bike in Brisbane CBD and cycle to Victoria Point. The ride is approximately 25 kilometers and can take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Victoria Point, you will need to take a ferry to Coochiemudlo Island. After disembarking, follow the signage to Melaleuca Wetlands.
