From Fortitude Valley, start at the Fortitude Valley Train Station. Exit the station and head south on Brunswick Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Ann Street. Turn right onto Ann Street and keep walking until you reach the Brisbane River. You will need to walk approximately 1.5 km, which should take about 20 minutes on foot.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Fortitude Valley, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Brunswick Street at the corner of Ann Street. Take the bus number 199 or 150 towards South Brisbane. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. Get off at the stop on Grey Street near the Cultural Centre. From there, it is a short walk to The Wheel of Brisbane, located at Russell Street, South Brisbane. The bus fare is approximately AUD 4.50 for a single trip.

Head to the nearest CityCat terminal at the Brisbane River. You can walk from Fortitude Valley to the CityCat terminal at Howard Smith Wharves, which takes about 20 minutes. Catch a CityCat boat heading towards South Bank. The ride takes about 10 minutes. Disembark at the South Bank terminal and from there, it's a 10-minute walk to The Wheel of Brisbane, located at Russell Street. The cost for a CityCat ride is around AUD 5.00.
