Start at the Byron Bay Lighthouse. From the lighthouse, head south on Lighthouse Road until you reach the intersection with Lighthouse Parade. Turn left onto Lighthouse Parade and continue walking until you reach the beach. Follow the path along the beachfront, which will take you towards the Byron Bay Surf Club. Once you reach the Surf Club, continue walking north along the beach. The 7 Mile Dog Exercise Beach is located just beyond the Surf Club, where dogs are allowed to exercise off-leash.

If you have a bicycle, start at the Byron Bay town center and ride towards Lawson Street. Follow Lawson Street towards the beach, where you can take the coastal path. Ride north along the beachfront until you reach the Byron Bay Surf Club. Continue on the path just beyond the Surf Club, where you will find the 7 Mile Dog Exercise Beach.
