    If you are in Byron Bay, start at the Byron Bay Bus Station located on Jonson Street. From there, walk south on Jonson Street towards the beach. When you reach the beach, turn left and walk along the beachfront until you reach the end of the beach. Continue straight onto Lawson Street, following it until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Bangalow Road (B62). Continue on Bangalow Road for about 5 kilometers. After passing the Byron Bay Golf Club on your left, look for the entrance to Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary on your right at 419 Hinterland Way. The walk takes approximately 1.5 hours, so wear comfortable shoes.

    From Byron Bay, head to the Byron Bay Bus Station on Jonson Street. Take the bus service that heads towards Bangalow or Mullumbimby. Make sure to check the timetable for the specific bus that stops at Knockrow.
