From Central West, begin by heading southeast towards the Hume Highway (M31). Follow the M31 until you reach the exit for the Citylink toll road. Merge onto Citylink (M1) and continue towards the CBD. Take the exit towards Flemington Road/Aitken Street and merge onto Flemington Road. Continue on Flemington Road, then turn left onto College Crescent. The Melbourne General Cemetery will be on your left. Note that Citylink is a toll road, and you will incur costs based on your entry and exit points.

If you are using public transport, start by locating the nearest train station in Central West. Take a train towards Southern Cross Station (CBD). From Southern Cross, transfer to the tram line 57 (towards West Maribyrnong) or line 59 (towards Airport West). Get off at the stop at Flemington Road and College Crescent. The cemetery entrance is a short walk down College Crescent. Please check the PTV website for current fares.
