    Start your journey from any location in Central West by heading southeast toward the Great Western Highway (A32). Continue on the A32 until you reach the outskirts of Melbourne. Merge onto the M2 (Citylink) and follow the signs toward the CBD. Take the exit toward Flemington Road and follow it to Parkville. Turn left onto Elliott Ave, and you will find Melbourne Zoo on your right. There is parking available at the zoo, but note that it may incur a fee of around AUD 2.50 per hour.

    If you're using public transport, begin by locating the nearest train station in Central West. Take a train heading towards Melbourne Central Station. Once you arrive at Melbourne Central, transfer to tram route 58 (towards Toorak) or tram route 59 (towards Airport West). Get off at the stop 'Royal Park' and walk approximately 10 minutes to reach Melbourne Zoo located at Elliott Ave. A Myki card is required for tram travel, and a single trip fare ranges from AUD 4.60 to AUD 9.20 depending on travel zones.
