If you're driving from the center of Central West, head towards the Great Western Highway (A32) and follow the signs for the M4 Motorway. Continue on the M4 until you reach the junction for the Parramatta Road exit. Take this exit and continue straight until you reach the junction with Mt Alexander Rd. Turn left onto Mt Alexander Rd, and continue driving until you reach the Burke and Wills Camp 1 Monument, which will be on your right. Look for the park area where the monument is located.

Take a train towards Melbourne on the Bendigo line and disembark at Moonee Ponds Station. From the station, exit onto Mt Alexander Rd and walk about 10 minutes east along the road. The monument is located in a small park area on your right side, just past the intersection with Buckley St.
