Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards Port Elliot from your current location in the Fleurieu Peninsula. Use the local roads and follow the signs to Port Elliot. Once you reach Port Elliot, follow The Strand road along the coastline. Turn onto The Foreshore road, which will lead you directly to Horseshoe Bay Jetty. There is limited parking available near the jetty, so plan accordingly, especially during peak times.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Horseshoe Bay Jetty using public transport, check the local bus services operating in the Fleurieu Peninsula region. Buses frequently run from Victor Harbor to Port Elliot. You can catch a bus towards Port Elliot and disembark at the Port Elliot Stop. From there, it is a short walk towards The Foreshore. Follow The Foreshore road directly to the jetty. It’s advisable to check the bus schedules in advance, as services may vary on weekends and public holidays.

• Walking

  If you are already in Port Elliot, you can easily walk to Horseshoe Bay Jetty. From the town center, head towards The Strand and follow the coastline. Continue walking until you reach The Foreshore road. The jetty will be visible and accessible from there. This walk is approximately 1 km and offers beautiful views of the coastline.

• Cycling

  For those who prefer cycling, there are bike paths available from various locations in Port Elliot to Horseshoe Bay. Rent a bike from local shops if you don’t have one. Follow the coastal bike paths, which will provide a scenic route to the jetty. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow local cycling regulations.
