Getting There

  • Bus

    Start at the Hobart City Centre. Head to the bus stop at Elizabeth Street, near the Myer department store. Take the Metro Tasmania bus route 100 or 101 towards Sorell. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Disembark at the Eaglehawk Neck stop, which is closest to Blowhole Circuit. From there, walk towards Blowhole Circuit, following the signs for Fossil Bay Lookout. It's about a 15-minute walk uphill to the lookout.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Hobart. Follow the bike paths towards the Tasman Highway (A3). Cycle along the highway towards Eaglehawk Neck, which is about 40 km from Hobart. The ride will take around 2 hours. Once you reach Eaglehawk Neck, look for Blowhole Circuit. The Fossil Bay Lookout is a short walk from the main road.
