If you are driving, start from the Mount Field National Park Visitor Centre. Head southeast on Lake Dobson Rd towards the exit of the park. After approximately 4 km, turn right onto Strickland Avenue. Follow Strickland Avenue for about 2 km. You will find a small parking area near the entrance to the Strickland Falls walking track. Note that parking may be limited, so arrive early if possible.

To reach Strickland Falls via public transport, take a bus from Hobart to South Hobart. The bus route 446 from Hobart city centre will take you to South Hobart. Alight at the stop closest to Strickland Avenue. Once you disembark, walk along Strickland Avenue for about 1.5 km until you reach the entrance to the Strickland Falls walking track. Be aware that bus schedules may vary, so it's advisable to check the latest timetable prior to your journey.
