From Sydney CBD, head east on Elizabeth Street, which will merge into William Street. Continue straight onto New South Head Road (A38). Follow the signs for Vaucluse and Watsons Bay. Once you reach Old South Head Road, turn right and follow it until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Military Road, and then follow the signs to Nielsen Park. There are parking options available near the beach, but be aware that parking may incur a fee, typically around AUD 8-10 per hour.

Public Transportation
Start at Circular Quay Station. Take the ferry to Watsons Bay, which operates regularly throughout the day. The ferry ride will take approximately 15 minutes and costs around AUD 7.50 one way. Upon arrival at Watsons Bay, you can catch bus number 324 or 325 from the Watsons Bay terminus heading towards Vaucluse. Get off at the Nielsen Park bus stop. From there, it is a short walk to Shark Beach, just follow the signage leading you through the park. Total travel time is about 40-50 minutes depending on ferry schedules.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Sydney and take the scenic route. Start from the Sydney CBD and head towards the coastal path via the Bondi to Bronte trail. Follow the coastal path signage until you reach Watsons Bay. From there, continue cycling along the roads to Nielsen Park. Be cautious of traffic, especially on main roads. Ensure you have a bike lock if you plan to leave your bike unattended at the beach.
