If you are traveling by car, the best way to reach Tarraleah Falls is to head towards the Central Highlands region of Tasmania. From Hobart, take the A10 (Midland Highway) north for about 1.5 hours until you reach Oatlands. At Oatlands, turn onto the A5 (Lyell Highway) heading west. Continue on this road for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes until you reach the small township of Tarraleah. Once in Tarraleah, follow the signs to Tarraleah Falls, which will be a short drive from the main road. There is no entry fee for accessing the falls.
