Getting There

  • Car

    From Eisriesenwelt, head southeast on the B162 towards Werfen. After approximately 7 kilometers, merge onto the A10 Autobahn towards Salzburg. Continue for about 30 kilometers and take exit 2-Salzburg Süd. From the exit, follow the signs for Salzburg. In approximately 10 minutes, you will reach the city center. Park in one of the public parking garages, such as the Mirabellplatz garage. From there, it’s a 15-minute walk to the cathedral.

    From Eisriesenwelt, take the local bus (Bus 660) from the Werfen bus stop to the Werfen train station (approx. 10 minutes). From Werfen train station, take a train to Salzburg (approx. 40 minutes). Once you arrive at Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and take bus line 1 or 2 towards the city center. Get off at the Domplatz stop, which is right outside Salzburg Cathedral.
