  • Walking

    If you are starting from Innsbruck's city center, make your way to the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (main train station), which is easily accessible by foot or public transport. From the Hauptbahnhof, head south towards Maria-Theresien-Straße, a major street in the city. Continue straight on this street, which is lined with shops and historic buildings. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the end of Maria-Theresien-Straße where you will see the Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl) on your right. From here, walk towards the Innsbruck Cathedral (Dom zu St. Jakob). After visiting the cathedral, exit onto Domplatz and continue straight to the next street, which is called Salurnerstraße. Turn left on Salurnerstraße, and then take a right onto Anichstraße. Follow Anichstraße until you reach the intersection with Wilhelm-Greil-Straße. Cross at the pedestrian signal, and continue straight until you find yourself at the Innsbruck Congress, where you will need to catch a bus or tram towards Oberammergau.
