Public Transport
From the city center of Salzburg (Get off at the Mirabellplatz tram stop), take tram line 1 or 2 towards 'Gneis' or 'München'. Get off at the 'Hellbrunn' stop. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to Festungsberg und Untersberg. Exit the tram and head southeast on Hellbrunner Str. Continue straight until you reach Hellbrunner Allee. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the entrance of the Untersberg area.

If you prefer to walk from the center of Salzburg, start at Mozartplatz and head south on Alter Markt. Continue straight onto Getreidegasse, then take a right onto Linzer Gasse. Follow this road until you reach the Salzach River. Cross the river at the bridge and turn right onto the promenade. Follow the riverbank until you reach Hellbrunner Str. From there, walk southeast until you reach Hellbrunner Allee, and continue straight until you arrive at Festungsberg und Untersberg.
