    From Fuschlsee, head southeast on the B158 towards Salzburg. Continue on B158 for about 22 km until you reach the city. Follow signs for the Altstadt (Old Town) and the Festung Hohensalzburg. There are parking facilities available nearby, but note that there may be a parking fee.

    Take the bus number 150 from Fuschlsee to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once at the station, transfer to tram line 1 or 3 towards 'Aigen' and get off at the stop 'Festung Hohensalzburg'. From there, follow the signs to the fortress entrance which is a short walk uphill.
