    If you are in the city center, start at the Mirabell Palace (Mirabellplatz). Head towards the Salzach River and cross the Makartsteg Bridge. Once you cross, turn left and walk along the riverbank until you reach the Old Town (Altstadt). Continue walking straight until you reach Mozartplatz. The Salzburg Museum is located at Mozartpl. 1, right on the square.
