Subway
From the center of Vienna, you can take the U1 subway line. Start at the Stephansplatz station, which is near St. Stephen's Cathedral. Board the U1 train heading towards Reumannplatz. After just one stop, get off at the Karlsplatz station. From Karlsplatz, transfer to the U2 line towards Taborstraße and get off at the next stop, which is the Museumquartier. Exit the station and walk towards the Ringstrasse. Continue walking straight until you reach Hohermarkt, which is a short distance away.

If you're near the Ringstraße, you can take tram line 1 or 2. Board either tram in the direction of Schwedenplatz. Get off at the Schwedenplatz stop. From there, walk east along the Radetzkyplatz until you reach Hohermarkt, which is approximately a 5-minute walk. Look for the signs pointing to the town square.
