Walking
If you are starting from Stephansplatz, the heart of Vienna, head northeast towards the Stephansdom (St. Stephen's Cathedral). As you walk, you will see the cathedral's stunning Gothic architecture. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Graben Street. Turn left onto Graben and continue walking until you reach the end of this street. You will come to a large square called Kohlmarkt. From here, continue walking straight to the junction with Landskrongasse. You will find Durchgang Hoher Markt at Landskrongasse 8, which is a small passageway just a short walk from Kohlmarkt.

Public Transport
If you are near the Vienna State Opera (Wiener Staatsoper), take the U1 subway line from Karlsplatz station towards Leopoldau. Get off at Stephansplatz station (only one stop). From Stephansplatz, follow the walking directions above. Alternatively, you can take tram line D from the opera house (Karlsplatz) towards Nußdorf and get off at the stop 'Schwedenplatz'. From Schwedenplatz, walk northwest along the Danube Canal to reach Landskrongasse and find Durchgang Hoher Markt.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations around the city. Start from the Ringstraße and ride towards the historic center of Vienna. Head towards the Burggarten and then to the Albertina Museum. From the museum, ride towards the Opera House and then to Stephansplatz. Continue following the walking directions from Stephansplatz to Durchgang Hoher Markt.
