If you are near the Vienna State Opera, head east on Opernring towards Kärntnertor Theater. Continue straight onto Kärntnertor and cross the intersection to get onto Krugerstraße. Follow Krugerstraße until you reach the intersection with Renngasse. Turn left onto Renngasse, and you will find Palais Schönborn at number 4 on your right.

From the Vienna State Opera, walk to the nearby Karlsplatz station. Take tram line D in the direction of Nussdorf. Get off at the station 'Schwarzenbergplatz' and transfer to tram line 2. Take tram line 2 towards 'Karlsplatz' and get off at the 'Renngasse' stop. Walk a short distance to Renngasse 4, where Palais Schönborn is located.

If you are at Stephansplatz, take the U1 subway line in the direction of Reumannplatz. Change at Karlsplatz to the U2 line towards Stadion. Get off at the next stop 'Karlsplatz'.
