Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Vienna State Opera (Wiener Staatsoper), exit the opera house and head northeast on Opernring toward Kärntnertor Theater. Continue straight onto Kärntnertor and then turn left onto Mahlerstraße. Walk until you reach the intersection with Ringstraße and then turn right onto Ringstraße. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Burggarten park on your left. Continue walking straight, and you will see the Albertina museum on your left as you reach the next intersection. Continue straight, passing the Albertina, until you reach the Hofburg Palace, then turn left onto Kohlmarkt. Follow Kohlmarkt until you reach Graben. Turn right onto Graben, and after a short walk, you will arrive at Petersplatz, where St. Peter's Catholic Church is located.

    If you're near the Stephansplatz metro station, take the U1 (Red Line) towards Reumannplatz and get off at the next stop, Karlsplatz.
