Walking
If you are in the city center, head towards Stephansplatz, which is a major landmark in Vienna. From Stephansplatz, walk north on Graben street, which will lead you to the northern end of the street. As you continue straight, Graben will merge into Kohlmarkt. Keep walking until you reach the Hofburg Palace. Once there, enter the palace grounds and look for the Josefsplatz. The Statue of Emperor Joseph II is located in the center of this square.

Public Transport
If you are further away, take the U-Bahn (subway) Line U3 to Stephansplatz station. Exit the station and follow the same walking directions from Stephansplatz: walk north on Graben, continue onto Kohlmarkt, and head towards the Hofburg Palace. Once you reach the palace, find Josefsplatz where the statue is located.

You can also take the tram line D towards Nussdorf and get off at the stop 'Stadtpark'. From there, walk towards Ringstraße and follow the signs to Hofburg Palace. Once you are at the palace, make your way to Josefsplatz where the Statue of Emperor Joseph II is situated.
