Getting There

  • U-Bahn (Subway)

    To reach Vienna City Hall from any location in Vienna, find the nearest U-Bahn station. If you are near the city center, head to the 'Karlsplatz' station. Take the U1 (red line) towards 'Reumannplatz' and get off after one stop at 'Stephansplatz'. Transfer to the U3 (yellow line) towards 'Simmering' and get off at 'Volkstheater' station. From 'Volkstheater', exit the station and walk north on 'Volksgarten' towards 'Friedrich-Schmidt-Platz'. The City Hall will be in front of you.
