Getting There

  From Sumqayit, head to the Sumqayit Bus Station (Avtovağzal) located in the city center. Take a bus heading towards Baku; buses are frequent and usually run every 15-20 minutes. During your journey, you will travel approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Baku Bus Station (Küçük Qala), exit the station and head towards the metro station nearby called '28 May.' After that, take the metro for one stop to 'Sahil' station. When you exit at 'Sahil', walk towards Neftchilar Avenue and then turn onto Kichik Qala Street. The Baku Marionette Theater will be on your left at 28 Kichik Qala.

  If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from Sumqayit to the Baku Marionette Theater. Simply catch a taxi from the street or use a ride-hailing app. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Provide the driver with the address '28 Kichik Qala, Bakı' and they will take you directly to your destination.

  For those adventurous spirits who might want to combine public transport with some walking, take a bus from Sumqayit to Baku, as mentioned earlier. After arriving at the Baku Bus Station, you can walk to the Baku Marionette Theater. The walk will take about 25 minutes. Head south towards the Caspian Sea along Neftchilar Avenue, then turn onto Kichik Qala Street. The theater is located at the end of the street at number 28.
