If you are near the city center, start at the Korenmarkt square, which is a vibrant area with cafes and shops. From Korenmarkt, head towards the Sint-Niklaaskerk (St. Nicholas' Church), which is an iconic landmark. Once you see the church, walk along the Sint-Niklaasstraat towards the Gravensteen Castle. After passing the castle, continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Bij Sint-Jacobs street. St. Jacob's Church will be just a short walk ahead on your left.

If you are further away from the city center, you can take tram line 1 or 4 towards the 'Gent-Sint-Pieters' station. Get off at 'Korenmarkt' tram stop. From there, walk towards Sint-Niklaaskerk (St. Nicholas' Church) as described above and follow the same route to St. Jacob's Church.

For those coming from the outskirts, you can take bus line 38 or 39 and get off at the 'Gent Sint-Pieters' station.
