    From the heart of Patershol, start at the picturesque streets lined with historic buildings. Head southwest on the Oude Houtlei towards the Vleeshuisstraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Korenlei, where you can enjoy views of the river. Turn left onto Korenlei and walk until you reach the Gravensteen Castle. From there, continue walking along the canal, crossing the St. Michael's Bridge (Sint-Michielsbrug) for a beautiful view of the city. After crossing, proceed straight onto the Sint-Michielsstraat. Follow this road as it curves to the right and becomes the Botermarkt. You will find Ghent City Hall directly ahead at Botermarkt 1, 9000 Gent.
