    From Valkenburg, drive northwest on the N590 road. Continue to follow the N590 for about 12 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A76 motorway. Merge onto the A76 in the direction of Aachen. After approximately 20 kilometers, take exit 2 toward Aachen/Brand. Continue on the B57 into the city center of Aachen. Follow signs for the Dom (Cathedral) to reach Domhof 1, where Aachen Cathedral is located. Note that parking in the city center can incur costs, typically around €1.50 per hour.

    Start at Valkenburg train station. Board a train heading to Aachen. Trains typically run every hour and the journey takes about 30 minutes.
