Car
If you're driving from the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, head southeast on the Pine Ridge Road. Follow this road for approximately 15 miles until you reach a small junction. Take a left at the junction and continue on this road for about 5 miles until you reach the entrance to 1000 Foot Falls. There is a parking area where you can leave your vehicle. Please note that the road can be bumpy, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended.

Public Transportation
To reach 1000 Foot Falls by public transportation, you can take a local bus or shuttle from San Ignacio to the Mountain Pine Ridge area. Once you arrive at the Mountain Pine Ridge entrance, you can hire a local taxi to take you directly to 1000 Foot Falls. The taxi ride will typically cost around $20 to $30 USD and should take about 30 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, and confirm with the driver that they will wait for you while you enjoy the falls.

For the adventurous, if you are near the entrance to 1000 Foot Falls, you can opt to hike the remaining distance. The trailhead is well-marked, and the hike is approximately 1.5 miles through beautiful forested areas. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water.
