    From Gasa, take the Gasa-Thimphu road heading southeast. The journey will take approximately 5-6 hours depending on road conditions. As you approach Thimphu, follow the signs towards the city center. Tashichho Dzong is located near the northern end of the city. You can park your vehicle in the designated parking areas near the Dzong.

    To reach Tashichho Dzong from Gasa using public transport, you will need to take a bus or shared taxi to Thimphu. Buses typically leave from the Gasa bus terminal early in the morning. The journey to Thimphu may take around 5-6 hours. Once in Thimphu, you can take a local taxi or walk to Tashichho Dzong, which is about 2 km from the main bus station.
