Getting There

    From the center of Pemagatshel, drive northeast on the main road (also known as the Pemagatshel-Trashigang Highway), which is well-marked. Continue along this road for approximately 12 km until you reach the turnoff for Chiphu. Look for a sign indicating the direction to Chiphu. Turn right onto the road towards Chiphu. After about 5 km, you will find the Dongkola Lhakhang on your left. There is space for parking near the temple entrance.

    From the main bus station in Pemagatshel, board a local bus heading towards Chiphu. Buses may run every 30 minutes, but it's advisable to check the schedule at the station. The bus journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Chiphu, you can either walk (approximately 1 km) or hire a local taxi to take you to Dongkola Lhakhang. The taxi fare should not exceed 100-150 BTN. The temple is located on a slight hill, so be prepared for a short uphill walk if you choose to walk.
