From the center of Punakha, head towards the main road leading to Dochula Pass. You can walk along the Wangdue-Punakha Highway. It's about 25 kilometers, so it may take around 5-6 hours on foot. Keep your eyes open for the beautiful scenery along the way, including rice fields and small villages. Once you reach Dochula, look for signs pointing to Druk Wangyal Lhakhang, which is situated near the 108 chortens.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Punakha. Start on the Wangdue-Punakha Highway towards Dochula Pass. The ride is approximately 25 kilometers and will take you around 1.5-2 hours depending on your pace. The route is mostly uphill, so be prepared for a bit of a workout. Once you arrive at Dochula, look for signs to Druk Wangyal Lhakhang, located near the chortens.

Catch a local bus from the Punakha bus terminal heading to Thimphu. Inform the driver or conductor that you want to stop at Dochula Pass.
