Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the town of Gelephu, which is well connected to other parts of Southern Bhutan. Head east on the Gelephu-Trashigang Highway (NH 2) for approximately 30 km. Then, take the right turn towards the Khoma Village road. Follow this road for about 15 km until you reach Khoma Village. Please note that the roads may be winding and narrow, so drive cautiously.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can catch a bus from Gelephu to the nearest major town, which is Trashigang. The bus fare is around 200 Nu. From Trashigang, you can find local shared taxis or 'maxi cabs' heading towards Khoma Village. The fare for a shared taxi is approximately 50 Nu per person. The taxi will take you directly to Khoma Village, which is about 20 km from Trashigang. Ensure to confirm with the driver that they are heading to Khoma.

Combination (Car + Hike)
If you prefer a combination of driving and hiking, you can drive to the nearest point accessible by vehicle, which is the end of the Khoma access road. Park your car safely and hike the remaining 2 km to reach the village. This hike will give you a chance to enjoy the local scenery and is a great way to experience the nature surrounding Khoma Village.
