You will reach the village of Merak, which serves as the gateway to Sakteng Wildlife Sanctuary.

Buses usually depart from the central bus station in Trashigang. The journey to Merak typically takes around 2 hours and costs approximately 100-150 Ngultrum. Once you arrive in Merak, you can either walk to the sanctuary or hire a local guide who can assist you in navigating the trails leading into the sanctuary.
