Getting There

  • Air Travel

    Most guests arrive at Leroo La Tau via a light aircraft transfer to Motopi Airstrip (also known as Khumaga Airstrip), which is about 6 km west of the lodge. The flight from Maun Airport (MUB) takes approximately 30 minutes. From the airstrip, a 20-minute drive along a dusty track will bring you to the lodge. This transfer is typically included in the lodge package. Prior arrangement with the lodge is essential.

  • Road Travel

    It is possible to drive to Leroo La Tau from Maun, a journey of approximately 2 hours covering around 120 km, mostly on sealed roads. The final stretch involves driving on unpaved roads, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Coordinate with the lodge for detailed directions and to ensure someone is available to meet you upon arrival. There are no toll fees. Parking is available at the lodge.
