Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Serra dos Órgãos National Park, located in Teresópolis. Drive along BR-116 (Rodovia Washington Luís) towards Rio de Janeiro. After approximately 25km, merge onto BR-493 towards the city of Magé. Continue on this road for about 33km, then take the exit towards RJ-106 (Rodovia Amaral Peixoto) and follow this road for about 20km. Look for signs for Praia do Flamengo as you approach the coastline, where you will arrive in approximately 1 hour from the park's main entrance. Be aware that parking fees may apply at the beach area.

Buses leave regularly from the main bus station in Teresópolis to the Novo Rio Bus Terminal in Rio de Janeiro.
