Car
From Serra dos Órgãos National Park, head southeast on BR-116 towards Rio de Janeiro. After approximately 50 kilometers, take the exit toward Rua do Catete/Flamengo. Continue on Rua do Catete until you reach Aterro do Flamengo Park. From there, follow signs to Centro, merging onto Avenida Infante Dom Henrique. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua Luís de Camões. The Royal Portuguese Reading Room will be on your right at R. Luís de Camões, 30.

Starting from the main park entrance, take a bus or van that goes to the nearest town center. Look for bus lines headed towards Rio de Janeiro. After arriving at the bus station in Rio, you can take the metro from the 'Central' station in the direction of 'General Osório' and get off at 'Cinelândia'. From Cinelândia, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Royal Portuguese Reading Room. Head east on Avenida Rio Branco, turn left on Rua Luís de Camões, and you will find the reading room at number 30.
